I got this info off the net from some site? I dont really know nif its true. Did you play with your bag before you installed them? I mean did you fill the bag with air to see how high it went or did you use info on the bags? So many questions!!!! Im just unsure of my self with the bag placement!! Thanks!
A friendly suggestion:
Whatever you do, make sure that there is some sort of mechanical stop that will keep the frame and the steering mechanism off the pavement should a bag failure occur, not just if all the bags lose air, but if just one or two lost air (if they are not interconnected). Bag failure is not at all uncommon on home built systems due to unforseen abrasion while in motion. You'll be surprised how much things move around in a suspension system, and even more "surprised" (possibly fatally) if the frame or steering suddenly contacts the pavement at 60 MPH.
well i have both hats welded on. never got the sides installed looks good only had to clean up one weld. ground off the top rivit of cross member going to take it out for air bags you guys helped alot nice job

im afraid to put pictures on. till i get all the wedding pic developed. as when i put my first pictures on. all other pics disappeard. going to finish frame fish plating this week end wish i had plazma would be faster. did you get your air bags in. u must have the newer bags as mine compress to 3.5" extend to 11" old style. they say to use 3/8 air line to make them faster
