Most folks convert these so they are not always in 4wd. The 203 transfer case is not exactly the most desirable.

the 203 was offered on the highboy in 77 not sure of other years, and would agree with 75f350, save up and go to the 205, you will be better off.

They were offered that way...not sure of the T case...but would have to assume it would be a 203 when the front axle doesn't have hubs...I have a closed Knuckle Drum Front that I bought from a U-Pull-It yard when I broke my front axle...i just needed something under it so It could be rolled and steered(It since has been converted to a Disc Brake front Axle)...They don't have hubs...just a cap that bolts in place of the hub to lock the axle shaft to the hub.
