I've been up all night installing and testing the new version. Here are a few notes about things that will be correct later this week:
1. I know that the pages are larger and take longer to load. This will be resolved in the next few days so any complaints about this will be rebuffed (you've been warned!)
2. The missing emotion icons will be added back in later this week.
3. Chat will be integrated back in to the main screen.
Complaints will be ignored. Constructive suggestions and bug reports will be addressed in a timely manner. Please DO NOT email me bug reports --- they will be deleted.
Post bug reports ONLY as replies to this thread. This will prevent the same bug from being reported more than once. Your co-operation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

You have to make a new one up, unless you are lucky to have it on file like I did. :-)

I was wondering why I couldn't get on to my favorite place on the web at 5:30am. Looks like the wait was worth while. Great job Ken, keep up the good work.
The only thing Ive noticed is that the oldest threads , dating back months , appear first when I select a forum instead of the posts that are more dated in Nov . Also , I have to log in each time , I assume the cookie function isnt functioning . If these are things that are on your to do list , no problem , just thought Id let you know .

Go down to 1967-79 truck forum and reply to Distributor &fuel pump questions by nick1. When you reply and hit post message it says "Your subject is too long". Well, I didn't make the subject, nick1 did and somehow he got it on there. Oh well, I will just shorten it on my post, I say to myself, so I did and it works, but then I am stuck. The only thing I can figure is the error screen sent me somewhere I can't get out of. I wanted to go back to the forum, or even the lobby, but I had to click on the blue "message boards" on the right of the screen and start over. I voted I don't like the new set-up, but I am getting used to it.
Ken,
I hope this is in the right place now. If not just get rid of it.
As of 1630 on 11/11 I still have to login each session. Since you listed that as fixed in an above post, I'm assuming it's a Netscape-related glitch. Not a major issue by any means but it could stand some attention when you get the time.
I had the same problem with "subject too long" in a response. The previous poster had used his allotted 35 characters and the "RE:" put it over the limit. No problem to shorten to sublect by a word or two.
I've not yet checked out all the features, but I like this generation of graphics much better, All in all a very nice upgrade
