Upload a photo in a post in the Test forum. Then use the link to the photo provided in the message (click "Edit" after posting it to see the link). Copy this and then go to your user settings, go to the profile section and paste this in. Make sure you resize and compress the photo before uploading it so threads with postings from you don't take forever to download with modem users.

Example: If I am searching for "Max tire size", then those words are the only words that should be in the subject line when the search is completed, but I am getting tons of different subjects, like "can't keep front end aligned" etc.
I really like to use the "subject" search, and then scroll through and find a subject that is specific to what I am needing to find. For some odd reason, it's not working since the upgrade....
I am having this problem using both search logics ("and" or "or").
Any ideas?

Ever since the upgrade, every time I return, I have to login. I saw some earlier messages that this wasn't working but was to be fixed Real Soon Now. Well, it still doesn't work for me.
I'm running Netscape on MacOS, if that matters. I've turned the auto login feature on in the preferences. I have cookies turned on. I even cleared out all old ford-trucks cookies in case there was an incompatibility. I still have to login every time.
Hmmm, I have cookies set to "originating server" only. Could that be the problem? The other cookie related features of FTE seem to work.

HTML specs allow up to 20 cookies per domain and a total of 300 cookies. The old forum used 2-3 cookies, the new uses 2-7. When you browse sites and the cookies pile up to a total of 300 your browser starts deleting the oldest cookies as new cookies get set. When you visit other sites, cookies are getting deleted. Since the new forum uses twice as many cookies the likelihood that a cookie will get deleted goes up.
Not much I can offer in the way of help other than saying visit this site more often so the login cookie stays more up to date.

At the moment, by browser has 35 total cookies. Before I deleted a few, the number was up to 45 or 50.
Interestingly, I didn't have to login just now! Perhaps the cookie expiration is wrong. My previous visit was just 4 or 5 hours ago. (My computer was shut off during those 4-5 hours.) I'd normally wait 24 hours before returning. Before the upgrade, I had never had a problem with the login not "sticking".
FYI, I currently have four ford-trucks cookies: LastVisitCookie, DCForumInboxTime, TimeStampCookie, and DCForumSessionID.

Sorry, can't change that. The search code was completely rewritten by the company that produces the software. All I can do are code tweaks, not major rewrites....

Great job with the new site and the additions. Have knowticed something odd and it might be just me. We used to be able to add the attachments at the bottom of an edit post page lately ive knowticed it on a few pages but not on others, am i missing something or are you trying to limit the picture postings so as to have us linking ourselves to the gallery?
