Forum Software Upgrade
The newest version of DCForum has been released. This new version has a ton of new features:
- Personal Inbox (instead of the current clunky system for sending users email)
- New messages since last visit feature (I already wrote this myself for the current version)
- Personal Bookmarks (ie, book-mark individual message threads!)
- The ability to hide profiles, email, and inbox
- Display who's online
- ICQ hack (ICQ chat directly with other users online)
- Number of messages posted by a user (this version takes into account posts made before the change. My version didn't.)
- Better table of contents
- More emotion icons with help link
- Better URL linker
- Optional Expand or Collapse Threading in Main Listing
- Topic Autosensing
- Better Printer Friendly Format
- Extensive search capability - Keyword search by author, subject, and message. Keyword search one forum or all. Keyword search archive.
- Option to indent messages in threads - Some like it, some don't.
This new version will be installed this weekend. Expect the boards to be down periodically during the weekend.

The "draggy stuff" is going to require about 160 hours of my time in the next 2 weeks to get the server moved.
