Backwards Glasspacks
Had to cut off my tail pipes when I shackle flipped my rear springs cause they were in the way after dropping the springs down. So now I'm going to route them to come out in front of the rear wheel instead of behind. I gotta move the glass packs forward about a foot to make the bend so I am just curious what they would sound like if I installed them backwards? would it make a difference? I cant remember what they looked like on the inside, been a while since I put em in. I would like a deeper sound but do like the way it was. I have 2 inch tubing from shorty headers to 2 1/2 inch Thrush glass packs, true dual. I am going to go with 3 inch out of the glass packs instead of 2 1/2. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

see how its got the ridges inside? the exhaust should "run into" those..if you install them backwards, i have heard, the exhaust will flow more freely

LOL! Years ago I put one on that was actually marked inlet/outlet and reversed it. That darn thing made a whoosing sound like a cut air compressor hose. Crank it up before welding in place to see how you like it.
