That means you have lots of blow by... some engines have a lot while others do not. Probably not a good thing to have a lot... if you know what I mean... LOL
If you have time.. just might be good to do a compression test. See if Clay has a compression test kit yet. If you are changing out glow plugs then it would be a perfect time...
That cap should just set there like mine does. Does it vibrate off like mine almost did, or does it actually get some altitude as the puff blows it off the filler neck?
It could just mean a clogged CCV -- check that first, and if all else fails, a compression check would be in order like Layson said...
sorry i read the answer wrong. when i put the cap on the filler neck it did NOT BLOW OFF, it had a vibrate issue. so i belive that is a good sign. i am located in lake havasu city, az and thanks again for the help i defentaly need it.
