4 spd Trans Code Charts

I have a 1984 F150 ... 4 Speed 4X4 I need a couple of parts for it.

I got the tag off the side of the trans ...the codes read:

RUG FM LC (or "LG" ... the tag is rusted) 18 (or "13" ... again rust)

F3TRGA 0181

1. Can anybody ID this trans?

2. For future reference, can anybody show me where to find charts to ID Trans and Differential by tag codes?

3. The part I'm looking for is a plastic piece (about 1/5 inches long) that sits the the bottom of the shift lever. I would call it a shift shaft bushing ... but I think it has an additional function of actuating the reverse light switch.

Any idea where I should start looking for this thing?

The trans code on the door decal is a "B"...

any help?

Again ... the production date is 12/83

4 speed manual 4X4.

I think I've narrowed it down to a T170FS (RUG code) SROD Trans.

aluminum case 4 spd w/ Over Drive.

Any idea where I might get parts for this thing?
