What is the C3 axle code?

What is the C3 axle code?
I have searched and searched today to try and find out what the rear axle in a 1983 F-250 4wd with 6.9 diesel, is and what it's ratio is. The door code is C3 and I have found every other code on charts except this one. I am assuming its a LS version. I already checked the axle for a tag, there was none.(Suprise, suprise). Anybody know this one or where I can find a GOOD chart for these older models? Everything Ive found has to do with newer stuff.

I just realized I posted in the wrong diesel forum. Mods feel free to move this to the pre PSD section. My mistake.
That's the prob, I don't have the manual and the chilton is next to useless.
