Last night I removed the blower motor and squirel cage from the F350. Inside the heater I found a mouse head with part of a spine attached. Deeper in the heater I found a headless body of a mouse. On the spuirel cage, I found a hairless baby mouse dead. There was mouse guts everywhere. I cleaned it as best as I could, keeping in mind these mouse parts probably got into the heater core and trying not to damage the heater core. Put it back together and it seemed fine.
This morning when the truck finally warmed up on my trip to work, the smell was so bad I had to open the window. Going to try to spray some deoderizer into the heater tonight.
