I really like them, but I also had problems with one not lighting and truck stumbling (nearly stalling) when they came on. I actually took mine out to get inspected last year, and never put 'em back in. Now I have another inspection coming up, so I'll be waiting another month or so before I think about putting them back in. I've been thinking about just going with a Brite-Box & SilverStars instead. We'll see...
I bought 4 sets on ebay for about 75.00 each from a seller named Supervtec and I went with the 6000k slim ballast. I did my headlights and all 6 fog lights. I have converted just about every car in the family with these kits and only had one issue with one ballast and the seller has a one year warranty which went well and got my replacement part fast.
A friend of mine has hid and has the same odd issue of the passengerside not firing correctly. Another friend has a vw with ecode lights and hid conversion and it works flawlessly.
I'll look into the eBay seller listed and think about getting a set. I have to get new headlight assemblys though cause I have the base model commercial lifts with sealed beams. I was thinking about getting the quad light setup off eBay and do hid in all of them.
I have them on every car I own, work truck, UTV, Quad because it's a night and day difference. You just get so used to them that when you drive a car with stock lights your continuously checking if the lights are on.
