I have two questions. What kind of coolant are you using and what (if any) kind of tuner are you running?

 

motorcraft gold and no tuner it has 60k miles on her

 

The reason I asked about the tuner was because of the pretty little daisy's on your pistons which usually indicate a little bit high injection timing. What YM is your truck?

 

I have and 04, 2 wheel drive manual ,

 

My 04 had those the first time it went to the shop for headgaskets @ 32K miles and they asked me if I was running a tuner. I wasn't, but I was surprised to see the daisy's. Has it ever been reflashed, do you know?

 

yes is has been reflashed but I don't know the date, I had the maf, and the vgt sensor go bad, but I dn't know if they reflash then
