Well from what i know its a ICM code.... It also said pending...
The truck started idling weird, but the truck seems to be running just fine anything past idle. I don't know how long the code has been there since my truck has a CEL for the glow plugs on at all times. But the truck started feeling like its missing at idle last night.
Glow plugs are almost ready to be installed. The valve cover harnesses all looked good without any burning. I unpluged and then replugged one while it was running, and thats why the code came.... DUH
How do I go about fixing this? I need this truck to pull the trailer on monday over 100 miles...
OKAY FIXED THIS PROBLEM, but I still have the weird idle...
I unplugged and replugged one connector while its running, and thats why it gave the P1613 PENDING code... still have the idle issue...
well you need to fix the wobbling water pump first. the vibration could be a bias'd icp sensor. while it is doing the rough idle unplug the icp sensor and if it smoothes out then you need a new one.
the idm code is because the idm commanded injectors to fire and it saw a drop in the cam sensor signal so it knew they were not firing therfore it threw the code.
Okay well I just drove it again... unplugged the ICP sensor and nothing changed...
Old Symptoms:
Destinctive vibration at idle
can feel it in the cab
and can even hear a difference between normal and how it is now
new symptoms i noticed and never have noticed before
can really feel a vibration on the clutch pedal when turning.
also can feel the same vibration on the clutch pedal when rapping the engine up and really romping on it...(not letting the clutch disengage at all, but foot resting on the pedal)
Wondering if its possibly the clutch not completely disengaging... since this happens at idle when i have the clutch down. It also does it while in neutral when the clutch pedal is up too. I know that i barely have to move the pedal at all before the truck starts moving, like literally less than a 1/4 inch.
Other though is that it could be a loose or broken mount, but wouldnt I feel that more than just the clutch pedal?
Any thoughts? Going to drive it, but this bothers the **** out of me, and would like fixed ASAP.
