Rough Idling
I have a very weird setup...
I towed the trailer to the track last night and while waiting to get in the gates, i shut the truck off. Well when I started it back up the think was running, but had a weird vibration. The whole truck was shaking really bad. Power is the same though.
So today I popped the hood to look and no UVCH were burned or anything like that, it had good oil, nothing out of place there. SO I start it, and look and the water pump pulley is loose...and moving all around... I tried to tighten the 10mm bolts but they were all tight, so now my question is, the fan clutch nut, maybe its not tight. I am going to try and tighten it, but any other ideas? I know the exhaust is not hitting the cab, checked that last night.

Well tightend up the fan clutch and still nothing...
Im thinking it might be transmission related, because at around 2400-3100 RPM i can feel a bad vibration on the clutch pedal.
I know I Have a SMF, but i know the tranny needs new sycros in 1st to 2nd gear...
Wondering what else could have been damaged to make a vibration like this...
