Coolant flush
No, I have that bypass on my 4.0L explorer... I don't see any leaks there, and I replaced my hoses like 3 years ago, and got new clips, etc - they were a pain to remove, had to buy a special tool to get them off, was careful not to bend/break the HC metal nipples...
I actually think the AFC has a leak now - I can never get coolant to stay there - I fill it to the fill when cold, and after a drive cycle, it's bone dry - kept at it for a few times, and thought it was just topping off, etc... again though, I don't see a leak there...
I think maybe I should pull it, and replace the hose that goes to it too, and the tank, if I can find one - I know it's the split kind, and the other side is WW fluid...
I need more hours in the day :-) - but I can't complain, she's never left me stranded yet... and trying to prevent that...
I actually want to change all the fluids in her before winter comes - and do that gentle tranny flush too... or at least change the filter...
