I have a 95 E350 without a tach in the instrument panel. I can purchase a used panel
with a tach locally. Does anyone know if this is just a 'plug and play' swap or if that are
additional senders/wiring changes that would be required to make everything work??
There are not enough people that have done it to really give you a thumbs up or down.
I will say from experience doing it on other Fords, it was basically plug and play. The real difference between panels is the printed circuit board on the back of the dash, the wiring connectors are basically all the same. Sometimes you have to connect another power shunt to the dash panel, usually for the volt meter, you will see a 3 way split behind the speedo, two will be taken, and you just insert another banana plug and wire.
