Conanski- As for removing the distributor i did just that... i took it all apart so that the old pick up coil could be removed and replaced then i slid everything back together aligned were it went and went to turn over the vechile and still the same issue.
Mustang6147-did i check the omhs no i really didnt but i actually had a replacement Msd coil in there when the truck died out and since it seemed there was no spark coming from that i went ahead n replaced it with a new coil and since that didnt help i got the new one exhanged for another coil jus to make myself feel better that i didnt get a bad coil from the autoparts store.
And at this point im begining to assume its some sort of wiring issue ... since all the basic ignition components have been checked or replaced...
