Another door lock question

All 5 of my power door locks do not work. Well they try to work by making sound and the door lock wiggles a bit. I dont have a owner's manual so I do not know where to look to check the relay. Also I understand that it may be a ground. Where do I look to check the ground? I will lastly check the actuators, but all 5 not working???? I bought the X with all 5 not working, but maybe they went one at a time???? Any help would be great.

Thanks

If it's a 2000 with that many miles and they all wiggle a little I would say all 5 are bad. Luckily if you have a little mechanical inclination you can fix all 5 of them for free. (or pay about $800+ to have it done.) I just used tin foil to replace the thermisters instead of wrapping them. Do a search and you will find how to fix them. Mine even open/close with a clunk now so I know they lock/unlock from a distance with my FOB.

Here is a link to the Excursion Tech folder for the fix for your actuators:

I left some things intact on my doors like the black cable and didn't remove any door handles. I used a little flashlight and and little mirror too. Those little mirrors are kind of hard to find but I always keep one in a sandwich bag in my toolbox. Long skinny screwdrivers help in there also. The less you remove the faster it will go. Just don't break anything.
