2000 Ex electric doorlock problems

I recently bought a 2000 Excursion 4x4 for my next build and the electric door locks wont lock or unlock any of the doors. When I push the lock or unlock button I hear it trying to work at each door, but wont do anything? Also the rear lift gate lock will not lock even with the key? Could all 5 of my door lock actuators be bad?

yep i am into my 2000 excursion 125000miles for all 4 doors the 2 right side made noise but did not advace the lock then about a year latter the left side went. they are easy to replace about 30 min job. the hardest is the driver door. the rest are pretty easy. i have not done the tailgate but i have had the tailgate apart and dose not look to hard.

Yes this is common with Excursions. When I bought my 02 all 4 were bad. I replaced them all. Nice to have door locks that work

Thanks for all the help everyone!!! Did all 5 doors and they work great! I wrapped the resistors with heavy duty tinfoil and did not have to remove any door handles thanks to "the tab" secret. Rear hatch lock would not lock with key or power locks before...did resistor wrap and sprayed the locking mechanism with WD-40 and it works like brand new.
Nice to have power locks again, also just figured out my keyless entry code thanks to another thread on hear...I would be so lost and broke without FTE!!!

I have a 2000 excursion Limited. The drivers side second row door lock will not respond to the remote to lock or unlock or to the drivers control. Now the rear 2 doors will only lock and unlock occasionally, The 2 rear side windows don't always work. One day the right side won't go up only down and the next time won't go down only up, then won't go up or down...But most of the time it works. Then the left door window will do the same thing. Any ideas what I might be dealing with?

Liquid Wrench makes a penetrating oil for locks that worked for me. I used WD-40 at first and after a few days the rear hatch stopped locking again.
