I already knew, but...........

Adam.......I don't know what your tech was reading or how he was supposedly reading fuel pressure, but there is NOTHING that reads fuel pressure in the factory PCM otherwise folks wouldn't be spending $200+ for a fuel pressure sending unit, adapter, and gauge. I might be scared.......very scared.

Interesting.

Page 19 of the 6.0 HPO Fuel System guide shows a graph of WDS recording fuel pressure, showing a 5.5 PSI fuel pressure drop for a brake-torque WOT, versus a 0-50 MPH WOT pressure drop of 22+ PSI.

I don't know HOW they did it; perhaps an analog input on the WDS system? Perhaps something on the factory diagnostic/prototyping computers that's not present at the dealer?

Perhaps an inferred pressure reading from other inputs?

Perhaps a PID at the HFCM?

Inquiring minds want to know.... ????

Interesting. Can you post a link of that? I'd like to see what they're reading, because there are NO fuel pressure sensors in the fuel system. Maybe Vince can weigh in on this and give us some info.

Ive been all over the website at ID, im I to understand that they are only offering custom tunes on the SCT X3? I ask because the livewire isnt listed under the 6.0, and the new SCT touch screen isnt showing coming with custom ID tunes. WTF?

I think page 18 will give you the answer where it says connect a gauge to the test port at the secondary fuel filter housing.
