I few months ago I changed out the front axle of my truck. Someone very kindly sent me the Ford Manual pages which were greatly appreciated. I'm going to try the oil cooler next and cannot remember who sent me the pages. Again they would be very helpful. Thanks.
I think that the access to the manuals you were talking about was deleted or disabled. It was the actual Ford tech website IIRC. Unfortunately it's gone now.

I see now. That actually wasn't deleted, it became a "member" only deal. I think there was a thread on that a few months back.

There was apparently a glitch in the software or server that left an open door if you knew the link (which, obviously, was floating around FTE ). Either a revision came out or it was discovered and now it's "members" only.
It was good while it lasted. You can get shop manuals from Helm, Inc., or you can see them come across eBay. I got my Ford service manual on DVD for about $40 on eBay. I would prefer the hard copy, but that was considerably more expensive (especially from Helm).
I got the manuals that I downloaded from the site that has since been locked. I downloaded everything for a 2007, but I can't see them being too much different. If you want the manual pages e-mail me at david.moyer@plexsysipi.com and I'll search through the pages and find what you need and reply with it.
