fan trouble while tuned....

fan trouble while tuned....
Anyone have a 6.0 with Innovative tunes that is having fan troubles?
I did a ton of research and found that innovative Diesel / Eric sent me some tunes that never commanded the fan to come on. I installed head studs and soem other mods this winter so I got a new set of tunes from Eric and my truck ran ok all winter but as soon as the weather started to get warm I had a lot of problems with overheating... I returned the truck to stock tune and everything ran normal for a solid month.... I had a different tuner check Eric's tunes and he told me no where in the tune was there a command for the fan to come on!
My truck overheated several times pretty hot and I am grateful there was no obvious damage. I am hoping there is no damage that I am not seeing at the moment! I am VERY upset that Eric and Innovative sent me tunes like this, has anyone had a similar experience?
I am eager to see if there are other people out there with the same problem as me.

What happened to your truck / tunes? What was the diagnosis?
I have not presented this to Eric yet. I wanted to see if anyone has had the same problem and / or if there is something I did wrong to make this happen before I accuse him of anything..

I am not an expert on this so I am not 100% certian how it worked. I uploaded my street tune into my truck and my cousin Pete (Vlietracer64) pulled it out with a different device and returned my truck to stock and emailed it to the guy, he checked it over (I dont know exactly how) but he told my cousin there was no command in the tune for the fan to turn on at all.
We ran the truck stock and the fan works perfectly. My EGR is deleted BUT I do have it plugged in and zip tied under my hood so its definitley not that..
Is there an explination for it to be anything other than the tune?
Like I said I am not a pro and I think my cousin Pete will chime in and explain it a little more than I did because he knows more about it than I do.

he could not change it because it was encripted.. I had to get all new tunes. I went through Matt at Gearhead to get my new tunes and I hope to have them in the truck within the next week or so...

i think i got the same issue with my tunes when on th unlimited tow tune it over heats and blows coolantout the degas. saw this thread and tried setting it back to stock but for some reason it went to the srl tune tried it out and it seems to be better. at least you can hear the fan come on. on the other tune i couldnt hear it. i gotta get ahold of eric to see

I wound up having to do head gaskets AGAIN because of Eric and his tunes! Im not very happy about it! Truck got done last Thursday... lets see how it runs for a while!
