I've called (left VM), emailed, posted in Innovative's forum (Innovative Diesel) and haven't heard back. I figure they are busy but just doesn't quite feel right wanting to spend money with a business that can't keep up with business. I'd LOVE to get Erics tunes but again just seems like it would be too difficult to get ahold of anyone. So who else has some great tunes that would be the equivalent of Eric's? I'd love to buy some this weekend (if possible).
Yeah from what I hear they are good guys.. not knocking them or the business. I started calling yesterday and all day today, tried all the extensions and no answer. Bummer.
I totally agree with a biz should respond.... I FEEL your frustration....
I don't know, but they may be out of town....
Without naming names.... let me be as clear as posssible...
I have tried no less than 5 of the 'best' ones including Innovative...
Even with a 1 or 2 day wait, Eric's is the best response....
some waited months to get back to me...
even AFTER being paid.... LONG after it was prudent....
Yeah starting to realize..just think of the money that could be made off of people (like me) just wanting someone to speak to and place an order that day instead of hoping for response or using a website store. Hmm..

I understand really wanting to get tunes quick and wanting to talk to the "pros" when you call but today is Saturday and maybe they aren't open on weekends? If you are still willing to deal with them maybe shoot them an email, sometimes they work in the middle of the night... good luck

Eric's tunes are worth the short time having to wait...
"Not feeling right about spending money with a business that can't keep up with business" is understandable.. I don't think that statement is justified in your case, and certainly isn't fair to ID.. It's been what, a day and a half? You haven't even paid for anything yet... It's a summertime weekend right now.. Patience grasshoppa..
Their website shows they are open on Saturdays. Already sent email and left VM.
Hours: M-F 8am - 6pm EST
Sat 9am - 4pm EST
Sun Closed
Be patient. Usually they start looking at emails by the end of the day or early in the morning. As for the phone calls that's pretty much the same... you have to catch them early in the morning. He'll get back to you.
Also keep in mind that writing a CUSTOM tune isn't exactly like buying a loaf of bread.
Matt told me at one point, that even with the specialized Excel routines he had written to make the task easier, it took him 2-3 HOURS to write EACH tune. Multiply that by the couple hundred customers that each tuner inevitably has, AND the various other activities he (or she) must attend to, and you can start seeing why the turnaround time isn't "instant".

What I hadn't mentioned is I have called on and off earlier this week. Not just a couple of days.
But everybody just needs to cool their jets.. again I'm not knocking ID seeing as I am still trying to get a hold of them. But really.. how hard is it to leave a message on VM or an out of office reply in email.. doesn't that make good business sense? Or does everybody run their business like this?
I talked to Ted about 10 days ago and he told me they were absolutely slammed with tuning. Their customer service is about as good as it gets. If they can't get back to you in your "patience window" you can always try somewhere else, but it would be well worth the short wait to get your tunes. It's basically a 2 man operation and as said earlier it's not just generic tuning like some other manufacturers put out.
As everyone has mentioned and from personal experience, Patience is the best policy, once you are talking it will go better. A few of the custom tune vendors have dropped out increasing customer demand from ID and others.
