Yeah I have dealt with them all, ID has been the best, tune wise and customer support. I have never had trouble getting in touch with them so Im assuming they are just totally covered up or possiby on vacation etc. Im one of the most impatient people, so I feel your frustration. However, not to sound like a broken record, well worth the wait. I called Spartan over two dozen times over three weeks, half a dozen emails, etc never a response so I wrote them off my list of companies to do business with. Im a dedicated ID customer now.
A few of the custom tune vendors have dropped out increasing customer demand from ID and others.
This, I think is the biggest reason that they are so swamped....too much demand. That coupled with the fact that they are talked up on so many websites and they are still a very small company makes the demand that much more. That being said, Eric has always responded to my emails within 24 hours and I talked to someone there on Thursday because I was shipping my FICM to them for tuning. It seems like there might have been an event this weekend.....but I can't remember.
Either way, I'll always use Innovative because they're the only ones who respond within a week of me dropping an email or a phone call.
Like I said, he was either taking some personal time or at an event because he's usually really good about getting back to customers. I wouldn't let it deter me from buying from him.
Yeah got them tonight about an hour go but can't use them. Tried uploading to the truck and got an error about a binary mismatch..appears this X3 is locked. Damn it!
I have used ID's tunes and 2 of the 3 tunes I purchased worked great. The third tune, street I think, was missing under WOT. Point being, Eric sent me multiple fixes (probably 5 or 6 different ones) over email, trying to make this one work, I was wondering how he had time for anyone else. I finally gave up thinking it has to be my truck as all of Spartans "free" tunes did the same thing. ID is probably just swamped like the other posts say, when they have the time they go above and beyond.

I guess that could be it, it seems the "more fuel" tunes are suspect. The economy and tow tunes work perfect and I use either one of them daily, never stock. Any idea where to "tee one in" and what pressure I should be looking for? Thanks
at the base of the upper fuel filter housing is the factory FP test port.. it has an M12x1.5 internal thread.. most senders are 1/8" NPT.. you shouldn't have pressure droppping below 45 psi..
yeah anything less than 45-40 psi at the lowest can cause injector damage. what would be the average psi with a stock fuel system? i don't have a fuel pressure gauge but when i was taking a ride with a ford diesel tech who had his computer hooked up he was super impressed with how my fuel pressure didn't drop at WOT. that was with a custom hybrid race and my newly installed FASS. (he didn't know the truck was tuned or had fuel system mods, and he was like damn this truck is fast, LOL, but i was out of warranty anyways so it didn't matter)
