steering column clatter
I have an 08 f-150 with the adjustable column and have recently noticed a clatter at slow speeds on not real rough washboard surface. I opened the locking mechanism and the noise goes away so it tells me that the problem is located in that area. Has anyone had this issue and what was the fix?

I don't know why Carnivore didn't answer your question, but I would see if it's covered under warranty. I wouldn't want to go messing around under the steering wheel these days. JMO.

just back from the dealership and as usual they went thru all the smoke and mirrors andits we cant duplicate the problem at this time, technician said he made sure all the bolts are secure and thats it
