Valve Train Clatter

Does anyone know or ever had problems with valve train clatter on a 5.4? I own my 4th 5.4 since they came out in 97' and all have clattered (about 20,000 miles) especially on startup in my F-150's. My wife drives Expeditions with the 5.4 and they do not seem to have this problem.

Valve Train Clatter

Welcome to FTE Chuck!!!!!

Do you use Fram oil filters??

If so, try switching to a Motorcraft and see if this solves your
startup noise problem....
