Difference btn FX4 and XLT

Difference btn FX4 and XLT
Correct me if I'm wrong, the only difference is black bumpers and the electronic locking diff in the FX4. Otherwise an XLT can be optioned out to be like an FX4 ie tires, etc.
I thought the dampers were different?
Looking to upgrade my 99 F250 5.4 5 speed

well yes and no ...
the fx4 come with carbon fiber interior trim also different shock and skid plates and paint to match bumpers and black grill that for a fact i know you can't get on a xlt
now i'm not sure how much you can add to a xlt before a fx4 would be cheaper
if you look on ford web site it has list of features per model
