OK, I've been reading this and resisting comments, but might as well get my .02 in, even if it's only worth .01. I think I was here and read Kris' first post on FTE. He was and still is on of the strongest sources of knowledge on the site. Like stated, he is one of the original "pay if forward" folks here. I know he has sent me things with the simple instructions to help someone else out when I could. He has answered questions for me several times and I still would enjoy meeting him and was hoping it would be this weekend. That being said and re stating that I have "known" Kris 4 1/2 years, I know that he has the ability to rattle the cage once in a while, whether intentional or not, but that's Kris.
I also have gotten to know Clay working with him on the RRE and pricing out some parts. Everything said about him here would seem to be correct as well. If you need a part or help with a part, Clay will do all he can to get it for you and for the best price.
I have no doubt that if I were in their respective areas of the country and needed help, either one of them would do all they could to help me out. For that reason, I will vouch for both of them and consider myself lucky to know them both.

Thanks for everone who now see's the plain and dry question asked, i ask direct questions to get the direct answers, and i put it how it see it, yes sometimes it seems abrasive or offensive, but it's hard to please everybody and in my line of work i see it all the time that you can't. No need for all the praises everyone.. Like barry said, pay it forward, and one paid off tonight as a buddy from another forum let me borrow his axle till i get mine squared away, so im leaving now to go get it. See how it works?

Aaaand, i know i wasnt the only one who wondered this, and i wanted to know, so i asked.. ask and you shall receive. I didnt want a bunch of um.... (bs?) with it.

Just get your dang truck buttoned up so we can see it! We've been waiting for long enough now to see just how much HP you're gonna make.

I've tried twice, being stupid to lighten the air. Yes, being stupid on here is easy for me. Not like Kris posted a link to Tuner History or something more Verboten...

Mike, did I spell it correctly. (Mike knows German)

See, internet fun. Geez.

There are a lot of serious things going on in just a few corners of the world. FTE is not one of them.

Kris is cool. Not like he put half them rods in backwards. Again.......See, internet fun again.

And when was the last time you actually seen anyone on here intentionally insult anyone. Or not apologize for it if done accidentally?

OK, Kris, I gotta ask. What area do you live in. I am always looking to learn something new about my truck and my travels between PA and MD probably put me pretty close to you looking at the location of posters who said they have been to your garage...

I did try PM but your inbox is full.....

Yeah... good luck getting that boy nailed down!!! hahaha

Seriously though, just like people sing Clay's praises, Kris is a great guy as well. When I was back in MD in early march, I drove up to his place and he pretty much did all the work for swapping out my intercooler & tranny cooler for the 6.0 versions, full fluid flush on the tranny, and then his parents provided us with dinner!! I'm sure Clay would be the same, but the commute for me would be a killer!!

I think this thread has run it's course. Kris and his father have spent the night at my house. I have a son and to be honest I would be proud if he turned out as good as Kris. I have not met Clay, but will this weekend. I spoke with him last week on the phone and he sounds like a great guy. It is time to move on.

Kris, bring your chit on down and give me some motivation. It has been too long. Git er done man.

It doesn't come about, it is what it is. How many folks here have custom forged rods, injectors and turbo? We are talking about this site. I don't even have that but bring your stuff and I will run you on the strip. Not saying I will beat you but your stuff better be right. It is all in fun for me, that is all. I don't care about being beat. I don't really care that much about a dyno either, I care about moving.

I will insult him on an open forum, he know's his crap is slow, you might even beat him LOL. All that money, it takes 5x as much $$ to go fast, and to "sit stout" while doing it. Now im lowering my truck past stock height even, just to be more stable and go faster, he's gonna lower it one day, if his girlfriend will let him.

Now *THAT* is some of the smack-talk I like to see!!!

That's one thing that just isn't done here like on the "other" forums...

One of these days, I'll be able to play too -- maybe not with Kris, but with some of you other mod-monkeys....
