Rich I have a Banks exhaust on my truck because when I put it on they were the ONLY ones with a kit for a cab & chassis. It looks and sounds good.

Good evening guys.

Hay the diesel drags and show was postponed till Aug 29, Just an idea for a GTG.

I got a 4" MBRP stainless absolute best I could get for somewhere around 500$ from Clay at Riffraff Diesel Performance.

And it sounds pretty dang sweet too.
Hmm, the same reason I went with MBRP. Can't stand banks. Plus the price was right for the MBRP system. Included the muffler delete option too.

hi there trackspeeder.

As for my van, I don't know if I'd go with the muffler delete option.

I sort of like the stealth feature , where I can power up the van and yet the little cars don't hear anything menacing to encourage them to add-on more throttle earlier in their launch.

Look at the other side with muffler delete. The little cars will get out of the way. Because they know something big is coming. You will never here those crummy tunes coming from the ricers. Deer will run back into the woods. The kids think there schoolbus is coming. Plus many more.

I only toy with the ricers from a standing start at a traffic light.

They often try to loop around me, or when along side they just try to out run me, usually simply so to get in front of me say for an entrance ramp.

I want them to think I'm a lumbering truck that can't get out of its own way.

Sitting there at the stop light just quietly purring.

I don't want to startle them with noise as I stomp on it.

Should they hear that my van has a throaty sound, it'll spoil the surprise, they'll figure I have something more under the hood.

Their only clues are the Sun Coast Transmission sticker at the bottom of the body.

They are likely gazing up at my van, not looking down at it.

The SCT chrome logo is nicely camouflaged on the polished stainless Ford Racing plate mounted on the front bumper.

Should they get ahead of me, I doubt they notice that detail in their rearview mirrors.

hi there Don.

As for an August GTG, just Carlisle, PA at the moment which I won't be attending.

There is a suggestion for the end of August, and I don't anticipate making that one either.

No Don, but they are at least working on it.

I spoke with them today and they hope to have it ready tomorrow afternoon.

And since I work evenings I said then I'll pick it up Friday morning.

Well, everybody I'm leaving in approximately 6.5 hours. Gonna be heading down to Tennessee. Should have a lot more mods done on the truck when I get back.

And no, Brian no black smoke in the mirrors.

YET.

That's one of the things I'm fixing in TN.
