well i totally nailed the testing, the woman conducting the tests let me go 1.5 hours early because i was done and waiting while the "competition" fumbled through simple basic science and safety questions. unfortunately we were told that we would be hired and start working no earlier than december.....he said metro north is very fast transportation, not very fast in the office dept. hopefully i will be somewhere else before december, but just in case i will continue the process!
anyway.....going to fix a friends PSD and if all goes smooth with that i will be picking away at the bike some more.
also i need to plan my camping trip with wifey to freeport maine............
signal trainee. hopefully i will have another more local job long before they hire me, but im keeping all doors open.
brian you would have loved the yard. i went through crazy security for about 10 minutes and then i was up close and personal with all the fun stuff at the training facility. i didnt have my camera though, sorry!
Sweeeeet and did you get any Pic's?...Did you happen to run into any of the WV FTE Chapter members there?
I believe (pmasley) was there
I think Paul was there, but I don't recall seeing him. Or knowing that I saw him.
I saw partsguyed, Jim (megawatt00), Clay (the owner of Riffraff Diesel Performance), as well as many others you guys would probably not know.
And for the record both Ed and Clay are both very down to earth guys. No drama from either of them. And I'm sure had Clay not been so darn busy he would've been under the hood helping everyone out as well. On Sunday he was trying to get under mine a little, but I had to leave for home.
Edit: I also met Clay's wife Kristen. She was passing out home made cookies and she gave me some gummy worms. Mmmmm. Tasty.
nice Aaron. too bad about the camera. they prob wouldnt let u take any pics anyways. Amtrak has a ban in effect now where, unless youre a paying passenger, you cant take pictures or videos of anytrains while on Amtrak property (mainly stations). so, if you look on my youtube channel, thats why all my recent videos are from the boardwalk and other places. Pete, im sorry to hear that. im sure ill talk to you on facebook tomm.
