Had a good day at the park today, loaded up the bed of the truck with bbq supplies and had an all day bbq. The red cross was doing a training event at the olympic pool in L.A., hadn't cooked that many hot dogs ever. Went through a few cans of chili beans.

I think he enjoyed it. They put him in with similar sized dogs at first, and they said he was "shy", whatever that means. I think he was probably afraid, which is why we wanted him there. So they moved him into the smaller dog area and he was fine. We dropped by around lunch time and just watched him in the video monitor and he was playing and wagging. He came home exhausted.
I think we'll take him a few more times to see if he'll "man-up".

I like how it took a minute for anybody to even look in the cab to see if the dude was still alive....they all seemed more concerned with the tree.
