I probably shouldn't be watching these types of movies this late by myself. The house makes noise, all houses do but you never notice them until you see a scary movie.

Morning all

I would like to know if anyone here knows anything about the 460 motor. My roommate has a friend that is selling a 89 F250 2wd extra cab w/460. I don't know how many miles it has or how much he wants. Just wondering how good that motor is.

You won't hear a lot of complaints about 460's, other than they have a bit of a drinking problem.

Mine runs strong @ 217000 miles.

MPG is not a concern. My iline 6 only gets about 9mpg cause it is running poor. When I find out more about it I will run it buy oyou guys. The only other thing I know is that it has severe bed damage. But If I buy i will use the bed from my truck. And trun my truck into a parts truck.

I'm sure it depends on the year. I don't know about an '89, but my '94 is rated at 250hp.

Of the gassers in the older 3/4 ton trucks, it is the motor I would want.
