amplifier mounting
im getting ready to install my amp and subs
the subs will be temporarily on the folded down seat but i want to mount the amp once and only once
so where does everyone have there amps mounted ???

Extended cabs are tricky. Does your amp fit under either of your front seats?

Mine is under the front passenger seat. If you mount it there be sure to place forward enough so that big feet don't pull out your speaker wires. Or mount it sideways.

Mine is on the back wall of the cab under the back glass, but my truck is a crew cab.

mine are mounted to a thin sheet(board) and zip tied to the back seat ribs of the supercab back seat(sub amp and front component speakers)

Mine is on the back wall as well. I have always wanted to figure out a way to mound it underneath the cab. Like in a dry box or something. I love the sound but hate to lose the space for everything.

How big of an amp? (physical dimensions)

This is a little different but mine are in the seat back inside the cage I even have 2 small PC fans that are turned on with the remote wire to help keep things cool

I guess I just had too big of amps to mount back there...maybe one day Ill figure something out.
