I found an Ebay store selling A Magnaflow High Folw converter Y-pipe for our f150 5.0's.
I called the 888 number they provide for a better "discount". I was able to get this y-pipe for $133 plus shipping. Total $150 to my door.
Their feed back rating is exceptional and I will let you know when I get this next week the quality. It sounds like great deal. Hopefully not too good to be true. Here is a link to the Item I bought. Remember, I called the number provided and got a better deal.
Not sure if its 1 in 1 out or 2 in 1 out. I assumed 1 in 1 out. But just that, assumed. It is one piece y-pipe with cat made by Magnaflow. I tried to buy just the y-pipe no cat but they don't come separated as pictured. I have no reason to beleive it is different than the picture. I will update next week when it gets here.
Why did you need a new Y pipe? Did your factory one bite the dust? I too am interested in finding out what you actually get with the kit and how well it fits. Skan that picture of the single in dual out cat doesn't have the air tube.

Yeah I know. That's the cat that I installed on my truck... For some reason, there was no AIR tube to be found... I even told the exhaust guy to keep an eye out for it cuz I had never seen it, and he assured me "its buried up in there somewhere". Went to pick it up... "Yeah I never saw it.. No AIR tube..." LOL! I have no freakin clue!
Texasguy, yeah my y-pipe bit the dust alright. Heard a ticking about mid December. It gets a little worse everyday. I tried to hold out till spring so I could fix it my self but no go. Just getting way to loud.
That sucks! How many miles are on it? It looks like such a nice really clean truck. My 95 still has the factory Y pipe. I'm glad you found a suitable replacement. Hope it works out and fits nicely. Which truck is it for? I just realized you have 2 trucks.

Thanks, The pipe is for my '95, the blue truck in my gallery. It currently has 125k on it. I haven't been under it yet to see exactly where it broke but I expect in to be near the 02 bung as well.

I would highly recommend a stainless Bassani y-pipe.
If the outside air is cold enough and the leak/breakage is close enough to the heads you could warp or crack an exhaust valve upon shut off....it all depends on the difference in temp between the outside air and the valve and another factor is the quantity of air entering the exhaust. This time of year the air is very cold and the valve will presumably be very hot and on shut down the cold air could enter the exhaust and contact the valve. I have seen it before.
Ok, its here. It is two pieces just as pictured. The down tubes seem small like 2.25" if not smaller. Then it dumps into 2.5" to the cat. I am half tempted to skip the cat and straight pipe it. Now I just got to get someone to do it for me. I don't mind working cars but its too cold out and I just hate monkeying around with old exhausts. Here is a pic:
