I don't really like the look of digital "gauges". But if someone bought me one I'd put it in. haha

I did the swap in my Bronco. I used the stock wiring and spliced the new connector into the OE harness. The gauge assembly comes with the new senders that are needed. You still retain the OE fuel sender and then calibrate the gauge pack to your sender. It was very easy to do. I still have to lay out a mile and calibrate the speedo. From passing radar boxes I am about 4 MPH off. They include a couple of momentary button's to get into the computer of the gauges to do all calibration.

The fit of the lens was absolutely perfect. I used some black sealer on the back side to set the lens in place. I also used a small air grinder to get rid of the material that was not needed. I'm thinking of doing this gauge pack in my 250 and the crewcab. It is a hell of alot more accurate and nicer looking than the original setup.

I'd sure like to put that in my 79-F250. The price just seems a little high but probably worth it. I always thought it came complete but from your pic's it looks like just the seperate guages fit into the original cluster housing?

I don't know why I didn't notice that!

Probably means "please I really want one!"

The gauge packs are seperate and do require cutting your bezel. Not to hard to do and probably took me about 4 hours to do the complete install.

Please is on there the 1st time you turn it on, IIRC it said something like please set your mode or similiar.

I think I'll eventually get that for mine. Curious, can you set your odometer to whatever you want at the start?

No, it automatically starts at zero. I don't think you could set it to whatever you wanted.

What is involved with getting a voltage reading, instead of an amp reading?

Only 13.1 volts?

Looks nice though ,didn't realize it requires cutting the bezel.

i successfully installed that cluster in mine, its frickin awesome, the 'please' is 'please set...whatever' that flashes across the bottom until you have it all set up correctly.

the unit is housed in a brushed aluminum housing, very precise manufacture, worth every cent.

ouch! thats allot of $ for simple gauges.. are they at least all made in america? then it might be worth it.
