I've noticed that a lot of people have stopped replying in this thread so i figure i should help keep it going. lol. Well Hi my name is Matt and I've worked on pretty much any ford truck or mustang and I'm always craving more work. lol. anyways give me a holler back when ever some one looks at this. thanks!
im from the border of illinois and wisconsin. right there in the little town of antioch. i got to do a lot more work to my truck before i can mud test it but its too late its winter already and i've already gone ditch driving. lol
Matt, glad to see you want to see some activity!
I tried to get some things going last year. We had a few meets, but no real events were planned
What would all of you new guys like to do?
I want input and hope you all will make the club great!
'Afternoon Illinois! There's a parts swap at the Kane County Fairgrounds on Feb 21, its put on by the Model A (Ford) Restorers Club. Mostly early stuff like T's, A's, & V8's, mostly indoors, plus good food to boot!
I've got some A motors & stuff I might bring to sell in order to buy a distributor, carb, U-joints, carrier, oil bath air cleaner, hub caps for my 69 F250 300 I-6.
i wouldn't mind to see some car show events or drag racing or mud bogging events but what ever anyone can make it to or find available would be great. i go mud bogging up in northern Wisconsin on certain holidays I've been to car shows in Wisconsin and in Chicago but soon i plan on making it to the Chicago auto show this year! too bad i can't work there this year.
Say Ill., check the poll. Your chance to maybe get some help along I-70 moving stuff. UPDATE: Due to unforeseen expenses, I can no longer meet the asking price for the car I was going to buy. Trip has been canceled.
hey adam, looks like we should have a pretty good turnout there. And you can practically walk there from Crystal Lake. Cya all around 10 (white 08 SD with Mach1 ish hood stripe)
but if i walked i wouldnt b able to hear the turbo whistle,i may drive the long way just so i can hear it longer.i only drive about 15 miles round trip to work,i need to strech her legs some....
