Hi, names Ed and I'm not an alcoholic....dont go to meetings. Reading some prior postings, I also think it would be cool to set up a meet and greet or a bbq or party or something. Poopys in Savanna IL (due west to the Mississippi along IL52/64) is huge, bar, food, campground, huge parking lot, tons of cool bikers, tats and I'm pretty sure they'd welcome the idea of a bunch of truck guys hanging out for the day. Thats my suggestion...others? I don't mind some travelling, like an excuse for a road trip. Palisades state Park like 5 minutes away too, maybe split up the day?

I'm heading over to Sycamore, Ill. today.
It's their annual summer car show. Usually a real good turnout there.
Don't know if I'll enter the old truck or not.
I adjusted the valves last week and mangled the first gasket putting it back together.
I put a new gasket on, but I didn't find out the first one was leaking
until the entire right side of my engine was black... not exactly "show worthy" at the moment.
If I enter it, it will definitely be a CLOSED HOOD showing.

no, ya'll already provided us with the president , I would be willing to trade though, you can have him back
