Lots of interesting stuff yesterday at the "Vintage Transport Extravaganza".
A big car show was held at the Illinois Railway Museum.
Lots of cool car clubs showed up to represent their manufacturers.
Great old iron represented in many forms. Wish there were more FORD TRUCKS represented!

Anyway, it was a good time.
Murph.
Had planned to attend Murph but my 4 new Skyjackers showed up Friday and had to get them on my ranger. Had OEMs with 215k on them and a few shots of PB blaster did the trick on the bolts, love that stuff. Nice to have it immediately rebound from bumps and the restored ride height even better yet. Surprisingly, the action of the take offs wasn't all that bad.
Kid in a candy store is to say the least.
Side note, the coolest thing I saw was on the way home.
It was a mid '60s Econoline for sale at an auction house.
Peeked inside, but didn't check the motor.
It was an automatic, which is not my preference.
Wish I had the money to bid on it. Those things are the coolest.
Hopefully there are some of them around when I can afford one.

they were all I6's until 67, then 302 only available with auto. had 7 of them in my lifetime. great ride, lots of memories, and even some foggy ones. hehehe
I'd like to know some more about a Nash I saw, if anyone knows anything.
It was a '49 dually, flatbed, 14,000 GVWR, powered by an I6.
REALLY cool old truck. I'd like to add a similar Ford to my fleet,
but dangit, money and space won't let me.
wow. I guess if I started listing all the cars/trucks I have owned, I would be lower than scum huh? don't forget, I'm an old man, so I have had a lot of time to go through some vehicles.best would be the 2002 f 250 diesel. worst 69 mgbgt
