The ONLY time I have now to get to the forum...
Cool doin's comin' up:
Aug 2 - Vintage Transportation Extraviganza at the Illinois Railway Museum (BIG Diesels), in Union IL, (midway between Chicago & Rockford) usually a great time weather pending, I'm pretty sure this is a pre-register show, but maybe not. Also the Windy City Chapter of the National Truck Historical Society meets there on the same day, members bring out some cool stuff to this event, vintage milk trucks, beer deliveries, fire protection equip, big rigs, etc. It's a really good time plus all the grounds are filled with antique cars & trucks and cool old trains to ride.
Aug 13-16 - Sycamore Steam Show, another family friendly event, Great food, Flea market, Parade daily, Live music, 100s of Gas Tractors, Hit & Misses, and of coarse, Steam Powered - Threshing, Sawmill, H.P. Dyno, & more, in years past there's been a section for antique cars and trucks.

hello all. hey murph. if you want to get the posts up, go to some of the chapters, and have a post party. usually sat nights, around 9 work.just let them know you want to hold a post party in your il. b/s thread. we've done it a couple of times, go back to md, and take the names of some of the regulars, and invite them. keep in mind not all the people that post in md, are from md..... good luck

Man, is it nice outside, and I think I took my fishing pole out of my truck, otherwise I'd be sneaking a long lunch instead of taking sh-- from my co-worker about being a truck geek...
P.S. How do I add the footer on my posts with out typing it each time?

well hello all. hope your day was a good one. tornado got me, md chapter guys comeing up to help cut trees on sunday. wish ya'll were closer, beer and burgers are on me. no murph, it diddn't get your manifolds.

no problem. you can see the pics on the md b/s thread, might have to do some digging though, mabe back 10 pages, we busted over 4k posts this month. mabe next month same will happen here!!!
