c6 tranny

I'm looking for a C6 tranny to bolt up to a 352 FE in my '67 F100. Anybody know of one available?

There should be a lot of C6 trannys out there. If it is behind any FE it should fit. Look for 360s and 390s from 68 thru mid 70s. The C6 out of cars should also work. Some have different tailshafts but you will probably have to get a different driveshaft anyway.

There is a endless supply of them all the trucks til 76 used them behind the FE's there should be no shortage. I know there is atleast 15 at my local wrecking yard at all times.

I want to throw in 2 pennys worth here. The car C6s have a different shift arm on the side of the tranny from trucks. While both are pretty much the same inside a C6 from a truck will give you a better shifter selection.

Mine came from a car and I couldn't go to low. Got the arm changed last year and now everything is much better.
