C4------>C6 Swap
I've got a '77 F100 that has a 302/C6. It had a C4 before and nothing was changed when the C6 was put in. Does a C6 require a different crossmember? Also the linkage is rigged up badly, does anyone know what part # is required to go from the steering column to tranny for this setup?

You can use the same crossmember but it must be moved rearwards on the frame. I dont have that part number, but I know that it needs to be extended an inch or two. I just welded a bolt onto it to extend it. Cheap and easy.
