351w water pump

351w water pump

dose any one know if there is differt water pump lenghts for the 351w engine

I belive there is. I belive the serpentine belt 351`s had a shorter water pump than the Vee belt. But I also belive the 302 water pumps are the exact same as the 351`s. I am not 100% sure but i think they are since the 302 pump off my 302 is the same as my 351.

thanks rusty mine does have the serpentine belt on it so it must be the shorter shaft pump.

There was also a much shorter timing cover/water pump assembly used on some late '90s 5.0 cars, I think maybe TBirds. These could presumably be swapped over to the 351 engine for extra radiator clearance.
