Bilstein 5100 steering stabilizer part #

I didn't like the looks of my old worn out steering stabilizer, It didn't match my new Bilstein 5100 shocks.

So after a little checking, I found out that the 5125 series shock with the Part # F4-BE5-A463-H6, had the same travel length of 9 1/4", extended length of 24 3/8", and collapsed length of 15 1/8" that the stock shock had.

I gave Clay a call with the part number and he sent me one for $84.00.

I hope this may help somebody else that wants to have their stabilizer match their 5100 Bilsteins. But couldn't find a part number.

I dont recognize that tread pattern on your tires, What kind are they?
I'm gonna need new ones soon.

Yes, because my old stabilizer was totally shot. I could compress and extend it with out any effort.

Sorry for digging up an old thread but I have a question. The part number referenced is a shock. Can we use a shock as a steering stabilizer? Doesn't it want to extend and push the steering all the way over? Is it tough to turn in the direction that you are compressing the shock?

You are right Scott, it does want to push to one side, the left. I really should have used a dual valve shock, but couldn't find one in the #5100 series.

How is it holding up otherwise Mark? My replacement from NAPA lasted about two or three months and then was shot

Still looks pretty. But it's time for a new stabilizer.
