heat please!!!!
can anybody help me figure out how to flip the diverter door from cold air to hot! there is heat behind the dash but it can't get out,i don't know were the door actuator is so that i can turn it manually and its getting pretty cold up here in northern ontario!!! i've tried looking for exploded parts diagrams on the net but so far no luck.

Pull out the glove bax, and there is a panel that hides the heater core. take that off, and you can reach in there and feel the door. Turn the selector **** from cold to hot and see of it moves. If not then take the actuator off and you can turn it but since you will already be in there go ahead and replace it. It only has two or three screws to hold it in place. Hope this helps, good luck I had the same problem with no heat, but mine ended up being a blown head gasket letting the compression pressurize the coolant and creating an air pocket.

ok so damn mice stole dog cookies that i keep in glove box and put them in the way of the blend door,jambed it and broke the actuator!!!! gotta love livin in the bush!!! so i cut a hole in the btm of the heat box to get the cookies out and flipped the door and taped the hole shut.who knew that 'cookies' could cause a problem with my truck as well as my damned computer!! at least i can fix the truck!! oh to be less computer illiterate!!! thanks for the help y'al
