I'm in need of toe spec's for a 1995 ranger 2wd, 4cl 2.3L. Old tires wore badly on the inside. That leads me to believe that it is toed out too far, Am I correct. I understand how to check the toe but I need to know what measurement is close to being correct. Thanks
From what I have learned, if your tires are worn badly on the inside, it's usually a sign of too much negative camber. But if the tire treads are "feathered" towards the inside, then you're correct in suspecting the toe specs. Just my 2 cents, but anyways... I don't think Ive ever actually seen alignment specs measured in anything other than degrees. How would one perform an alignment like this without a machine? I mean, when you say you're using a tape measure, what point on the vehicle are you using to measure from? This whole idea is new to me.
