I would consider a Ford Racing crate motor, but they all have aluminum heads. I really do not want aluminum heads for my F150. I wouldn't mine cast iron GT40 though. Won't they work with the factory manifolds?
Check these guys out, they build "turn key" crate engines. I know they aren't Ford, but after checking their site out, and reading the customer comments. Well they are impressive.
I'm subbing to this thread because my 300 has many miles on it and I would like to know what to do when it comes time to replace her. Ty, keep me informed if you find out anything.

Im tempted to. I was thinking about getting a 302 and building it. 300 horse for a 302 is nothing. I could have more than twice the power to the rear wheels than I have now with a motor that is no more heavier than the I6 I have.
I'll probably just stick with the six banger though. Whatever they aren't, they are bullet proof.
Besides Chris, I'm waiting on you coming over so we can do that 4-BT Cummins swap with me.
