the 4.6 did not have the issue of plug sticking in the head
and breaking /seperating on removal
the eariler years on the 4.6 did have a problem with plugs blowing out as only 3 threads held plug in
this was fix in '05 or late '04
also the late, after nov. '06, 5.4 engine has a differant style plug [no sticking in head]
I have a 2005 Ford f-150 pickup. I am noticing a tin sound coming from the front end like something is rubbing. I have checked the wheel bearing and the brakes and it is not either of these. Any suggestions. There is 41,000 miles on it.

I stand corrected on the year for 5.4 plug it was '08
I changed it above
