I have completely disassembled my F1 and am now in the final stages of assembly, new wire harness and all. As I am doing the final wiring check, I have noticed the following and need to know if everything is ok.

The above check is a part of my checkout prior to attempting to start the rebuilt flathead. I have added an Offenhauser intake and (2) Schomberg 97's which forced me to change distributors to a mechanical advance. One additional question. I have installed a Carter electric fuel pump. Are other owners installing with or without the isolation dampening option?
Well I don't know if it helps but my 55 had power to starter all the time. Key energized coil. I always wanted to change that but instead I installed the key switch out of a newer car. Like a 1960 and I removed the button . Kurt G. Y-blocks rule.
