Putting Cigarette Lighter on Accessory Switch
Hello all, I am new to this forumn and this truck. I have a 2004 F150 Super Cab.
I am looking to put the cigarette lighter port on the accessory and or run switch so that it powers off when I leave the vehicle. I have a sirius radio installed through a PIE input device and would like it to off when I turn off the truck.

Best thing to do is get a simple lighting relay. Use a key on hot or a acc on hot signal from the radio or something simple to power the relay. Then have the switched side turn the accessory port on and off. Most lighting relays carry 20-30 amps, so it will easily power the cig lighter or accessory port if you ever change the config.
