evening all. we had some nasty weather roll through here around 5:00 tonight. dark clouds and driving rain (as opposed to rain that takes mass transit
). it was ...um...interesting. it left around 6:00 ish. the highway bridge over Niantic got stuck trying to open and clogged car and (to a lesser extent) boat traffic. the train bridge go stuck in the down position too, and the MYJOY fishing boat got stuck out of port so I think it had to go to New London. thats the second time in a week the train bridge has gotten stuck. but, its 102 years old, so....also, I got to fly through a puddle that was so deep im pretty sure it was up to my hubs. yeah yeah I know Pete, ur gunna make a joke about me puddle jumping, but the water was flying over my roof lol.

Friggin wuss. I had water splashing up over the roof of my friggin SuperDuty in the rain around 3:00 today.
And yea I did think about you when I was plowing through puddles.
But I didn't have a ton of choice on mine. It was either go in the puddle or hit another car head-on.
Once I was out of the puddles there was so much steam coming out from under the truck you would've thought it was overheated or something, but it was just water on a very hot MBRP exhaust.
